Update to Severe Accident

SANTA CLARA UTAH - Traffic is being diverted over Santa Clara Heights due to the severity of the accident.  The road will likely remain closed until an investigation can be completed.

Severe Accident - Vehicle vs Bicyclist in Santa Clara

SANTA CLARA UTAH - Watch for emergency crews on Santa Clara Parkway near the graveyard.  Traffic may be detoured around the area.  

STG - Trffic accident with injuries

St. George Ut - Injury accident at 700 S Bluff.  Vehicles are still in the roadway. Traffic flow will be effected, if possible, avoid this intersection.

STG - Structure Fire

St. George Utah - There is a structure fire in the area of 1100 East, 700 North. Watch out for St. George Fire Department enroute and onscene there.

STG - Rollover, Injuries likely

St. George Utah - There is a rollover accident on the corner of mall drive and red cliffs. North bound traffic being detoured. Avoid this area if possible.

STG - Traffic Accident with Injuries

St. George Utah - There is a traffic accident at the intersection of 450 N. 3050 E. The roadway will be restricted until medical units can transport the injured, and vehicles get towed away.

WASH CO - Higher Traffic Count While Parade Is Running

Washington County Utah - The St. George area Parade of Homes is open and running for the 21st year. The parade showcases homes all throughout Southern Utah, and was viewed by approximately 24,000 people last year.  The parade brings in visitors from around the region, and will impact travel around the area.  Take the increased traffic into consideration as you plan your commute. 

STG - Traffic Accident with Motorcycle Involvement

St. George Utah - There is a traffic accident at St. George Boulevard on the overpass of I-15.  Motorcycle v. Truck. Injuries are likely. Traffic flow is sure to be affected until Dixie Ambulance can leave the scene, and SGPD can get the vehicles towed away.

WASH - Possible Medical Incident on I-15

Washington Utah - Reports of a possible medical problem on I-15 at mile marker 14.  Watch out for Washington City Fire Department as well as Dixie Ambulance en-route to that scene.

WASH - Traffic Accident on Telegraph at Green Springs Dr.

Washington Utah - A traffic accident with injures at Green Springs Drive and Telegraph is going to require Police and medical units respond.  If the accident is not too severe, they will try to move out of the roadway as soon as possible.  Traffic flow will be slowed or stopped until this can happen.

STG - Traffic Accident on Red Cliffs Drive

St. George Utah - There is a traffic accident with only minor injuries likely, in front of Deseret Industries on Red Cliffs Drive. St. George Police Department and medical units are en-route to the scene. Traffic flow won't be affected much.

STG - Structure Fire

St. George Utah - There are reports of a structure fire in the area of Sunset Boulevard and Dixie Downs Road.  Keep an eye out for St. George Fire Department en-route to that location. Traffic flow is not likely to be affected unless the house in positioned right off of a main road.

STG - Traffic Accident, Unknown Injuries

St. George Utah - Traffic Accident at Tabernacle and Main Streets. There is unknown injuries at this time.  St. George Police Department as well as Dixie Ambulance & St. George Fire Departments are en-route to the scene.  Traffic flow will be affected.

WASH - Brush Fire in Washington

Washington Utah - There is a report of a large brush fire at 1100 East Telegraph. Watch out for Washington City Fire Department en-route and on-scene at that location.

STG - Fuel Leak in Industrial Area

There is a vehicle with a fuel leak in the area of Red Hills Parkway and Industrial Road in St. George.  St. George Fire Department is on scene and will have road blocks in the area.  Traffic flow through this area is likely to be rerouted until the leak is cleaned up.

STG - Traffic accident on 700 South

Traffic accident with no injuries at 700 East 700 South. Look out for SGPD & SGFD on-scene.

WASH - Traffic Accident near Exit 10 in Washington

A vehicle has wrecked just off the road near the Chevron on Buena Vista Boulevard in Washington Utah.  Washington City Fire Department, Washington City Police Department, and Dixie Ambulance are responding to the scene.  Traffic flow will be affected by emergency vehicles in the area.

STG - Traffic Accident on Red Hills Parkway

There is a traffic accident with no injuries located at 600 east Red Hills Parkway in St. George.  There is a vehicle in the roadway that will be affecting traffic flow until moved.  Keep an eye out for St. George Police Department en-route and on-scene at that location.

STG - Traffic Accident in Bloomington

There is a non-injury accident located in the roundabout just off I-15 at exit 4 in Utah.  Until the accident gets moved off the roadway, traffic flow will be decreased.

STG - Traffic Accident with injuries

Westridge Dr on Sunset Bouldvard in St. George. Traffic flow will be affected.

STG - Traffic Accident - Motorcycle Involved

Traffic accident involving a motorcyclist. 100 South at 100 West in St. George.

STG - Vehicle Fire

Watch out for St. George Police and Fire Departments en-route and on-scene in the Hidden Valley area combating a vehicle fire.

SC - Update to Possible Structure Fire

Santa Clara Police Department has cancelled Santa Clara Fire Departments response.  No threat of fire.

Look out for Santa Clara Fire Department en-route and on-scene at 2789 W. Santa Clara Dr.

STG - Traffic Accident on St. George Boulevard at Main Street

The accident is at the intersection of St. George Boulevard and Main Street. St. George Police Department has closed down travel east-bound as well as Main Street south of St. George Boulevard! Avoid this area until Dixie Ambulance leaves, and the cars get towed away!

I am happy to be providing a traffic blog for St. George and surrounding areas of Southern Utah.  I will keep all of our followers updated with road closures, traffic accidents, and slow traffic areas in town as soon as I become aware them.
